American Children are said to be prone to autism disease and according to the latest report the estimate is said to be alarming. Among 110 children, one happens to be affected with autism and this was according to the calculations and estimates made by US Center for disease control and prevention (CDC).
According to the latest data of 2009 carried out in 11 states of US, the autism disease is said to be seen mostly in eight year olds the most. It has alarmingly increased to 6 people in every 100 children which is said to be a serious estimate.
The report officially disclosed that boys out numbers girls in autism prevalence and one in every 62 boys was diagnosed with autism, while one girl in every 208 girls possessed this disease. But the CDC reports that the symptoms in girls are high and severe than boys.
Autism is a kind of disease where mild social impairment to a more serious communication, language and cognitive deficits are observed. But many health experts claim that the latest survey on autism was biased and its results depend upon the way the study site records were being maintained and the better diagnosis chances.
